Your Neighborhood Union. We work in front of customers and behind the scenes. Look for us stocking produce in a supermarket aisle, slicing a cut of beef before it is delivered to a grocery store, taking a child’s temperature in a hospital, making the blue jeans your children wear to school or selling those jeans in a local department store. We are North America’s Neighborhood Union—1.3 million members standing together to improve the lives and livelihoods of workers, families, and communities.

The Singing Field Foundation is a small family foundation. Our grants provide mainly general support for organizations and programs in the areas of environment, animal welfare and health, and other causes of personal interest to family members. The foundation is committed to a strategy of Mission Related Investing as a means of advancing our charitable mission, increasing our impact on issues we care about, and ensuring closer alignment between our investment practices and our personal values. The Foundation's investments are managed by Clean Yield Asset Management, with these objectives in mind. Our grant making includes support for two nonprofits who are leaders in the field of Mission Related Investing, As You Sow and Confluence Philanthropy. We have engaged the services of Confluence Philanthropy to vote the foundation's proxies on environmental, social and corporate governance matters and to make information on those votes and the underlying rationale available via the Moxy Vote online platform. Inquiries related to the Foundation's proxy voting practices may be made to Confluence Philanthropy. The Singing Field Foundation does not maintain a web site at this time and is not able to accept or respond to unsolicited requests for funding. The Foundation has no professional staff, and grants are initiated by the Foundation's Directors.
